Does re-export remove GPS metadata?
Yes. Canvas creates new image pixels without carrying the original EXIF/GPS blocks. JPEG date editing adds back only a minimal capture-date tag.
Can the tool hide text visible inside a photo?
Yes. Choose blur, pixelate or black redaction and position the normalized rectangle over the sensitive region.
Does a SHA-256 hash prove copyright ownership?
No. It identifies file bytes and is useful for integrity checks, but ownership requires separate evidence.
